Great shots. Crossness is a photographer’s dream and so interesting.
Thanks. I could have spent all day there with the camera, but was in a bit of a hurry (and had the wrong lens with me, really).
Some shots looking over the Thames to follow…
Those are good photos! I always mean to go along to Crossness but every single year manage to miss the open days. When’s the next one?
Cheers
Ian
Thanks Ian. Just updated the post with a link to their opening days.
A London Smell Survey could have a field day there…
Crossness is open again on 1st September and 13th October. Both are Sundays. We only open 5 times a year to the public at the moment so it really is a rare treat to visit.
Lovely shots Mr C. Very steampunk.
Nice pics from an interesting place. I would love to go there, but it’s not so easy to manage in time (and money) from Sweden.
What lens did you use, and what are you planning to use?
Cheers
Tomas
Thanks for your kind comments.
The lens is a fixed 35mm f1.4, on my Fuji X-E1. It’s a great lens, but a bit too long for photographing something of this scale. I have an 18mm on order, which I think will be better.
